KING - PERFORMANCE MARKETING

The following is a brief selection of work encompassing illustration, design, 3D and motion created both independantly and collaboratively as part of King’s performance marketing department since December 2021.


VIDEO STRATEGY - LONG-FORM PUZZLE NARRATIVE

A series of competitor-inspired puzzle narrative videos created in mid 2024. A collaborative project, I took on multiple responsibilities alongside a Video Creative and a 3D Generalist to produce these videos under the leadership of a Senior Motion Designer. Namely: layout design/3D environment block-ins; colour scripting; fluid simulation and texturing; UI design; 3D Modelling and character design.

The long-form puzzle narrative project was an ambitious one designed to push the boundaries of our typical PM workflows, ensuring we were remaining competitive in the mobile gaming landscape and adapting to marketing trends in the industry. 


DESIGN STRATEGY - STATIC BANNERS

Selected in-game pop-up banners for Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga, Farm Heroes Saga and Pet Rescue Saga produced from December 2021 through December 2023. The static banners workflow was my first opportunity to channel my illustration and 3D modelling skills at King. Pairing this with a willingness to hone and incentivise my brief-writing skills resulted in numerous successes in this workflow, producing many high-performing banners for King’s catalogue.


VIDEO STRATEGY - CHARACTER DESIGN

Character designs created from scratch for video projects as dynamic assets that can be then rigged and brought to life in the Spine animation software. 


VIDEO STRATEGY - INDEPENDENT PROJECTS

Lava Bears - Simulated gamepley video with a lemmings inspired danger mechanic. Project heavily relied on my animation skills in the After Effects and Spine softwares.
Project True Gameplay - One of 160 videos produced soley by myself as of November 2024 to showcase the gaming experience as accurately as possible. Reliant on my skills with level editors and game builds.
